On Friday 24th February, my fellow producer went on a ride along with members of Keynsham Police Station, with a camera to record some shots of inside a police car. Unfortunately, due to events that occured on this night, she was refused permission to film because the arrangement had only been for two police cars, rather than the other 9 that turned up for back up. We still have a shot from inside the car and this will probably be used as a transition.

Second Draft
So far, we've uploaded the interview footage so that now our production is at least 3.50 minutes. Now we to get inside andoutside footage of the police ride along and record some of the voice overs to match the new scenario. Our second draft will be looked at by our class on thursday, marked and leveled. Soon, the third drat will be due which will be near to completed and shown to the other A2 media class, anonomously.
After some issues with exporting the video due to sound, the video has now been exported again and appears to be working although is missing some images. Ready to show the class and awaiting feedback.

Interview
So far we haven't had much luck scheduling the rest of the filming due to various emergencies and training days the police had to attend. But tomorrow, 23rd of January, we are hoping to film the Interview door closing, an interview, fingerprints and form filling!

Second Draft
Thursday 12th January is our dealine for the second draft of production pieces. For this deadline our work must have a clear structure with only minor details to add afterwards, for example voiceovers, on screen graphics and music. So far, we have completed all of these, but don't have any footage except for our opening sequence. This is due to complications at the police station, with processing the permission to allow us to film inside the station. We are scheduled to film between Tuesday 27th Dec and Wednesday 11th Jan.

Continued Editing
Today we only had a single lesson, but also used lunchtime to continue with editing. Unfortunately, due to circumstances within the police station, we have been unable to collect anymore footage, so instead have started perfecting transitions between music, timing of voiveovers with graphics and general transitions. This will leave us fully prepared to just cut and enter the footage in time for our next draft deadline on january the 12th. We have found a low band police style graphic which will display the name of settings and people in the accompanying shot.
